This second class coach has squared roof peak ends and a closed vestibule at each end. It is painted in its original maroon and gray SAR livery. Side B is the passage side and its interior layout is, from the right, a toilet, two six-bed compartments, two three-bed coupes, three six-bed compartments, a three-bed coupe, and a toilet.
