A sign of the times, as the caboose era draws to a close - eleven SP bay window cabooses on the rear of this eastbound moving up through the siding at Woodford. Note the three C-30 class cars (non-full height cupola) ahead of the rear C-40-5 class car which is SP 1616, a 1963 product of Whitehead & Kales. Date of photo approximate.
